We leave Gajner and proceed to our 5 hours journey to Jaisalmer, where we will be staying for next two nights.
There is so much to do in Jaisalmer. We will visit Jaisalmer Fort, Surya Gate and dwindle on the camel’s back during desert safari. There is something even more entertaining and unique to this dessert - a dinner in the cultural evening.
Proceed to Jodhpur
We will leave for Jodhpur, 285 km, also known as The Blue City. Here we will visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and stay at hotel.
Proceed to Udaipur
Then we will proceed to Udaipur, where we will be staying for a couple of nights.
Udaipur City Palace
In Udaipur we will visit the City Palace complex, built on the east bank of Lake Pichola, definitely not built in a day. It took several generations of the royal family to complete its construction over a period of 400 years. The construction of palace complex was started in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II as a new capital for Sisodia Clan, when he migrated from Chittor. Udaipur has also been the capital of kingdom of Mewar.
Proceed to Jaipur
We leave Udaipur and proceed to Jaipur, also known as The Pink City where we will be staying for next two nights.
Amber Fort & City Palace
We will cover the main highlights of this ancient city. The Palace of the Winds “Hawa Mahal” is one of our first stops before we continue to the Astronomical Observatory constructed in 1726, following on to the City Palace, home of the present Maharaja of Jaipur, where we’ll view collections of costumes, carpets, paintings and impressive armoury of ancient times. You’ll visit the enormous Amber Fort, located in the hills at just a short drive out of the main city. In addition to this you will visit the Albert Hall and local market. Dinner for tonight is included and will be served at Hotel itself.
Proceed to Agra
We say goodbye to The Pink City and head north to Agra. In the afternoon we move onward, with a visit to the vast red sandstone Agra Fort, headquarters of Mughal Empire, built in 1573. It is vast in size so beautiful that it appears more to be a walled palace.
Agra & Delhi
The early rays of morning sun falling on the white marble of The Taj Mahal and the spectrum of light in the mist of River Yamuna make Agra a picture-perfect location. This emerging mist creates a mirage as if the Taj Mahal was floating. Due to the absolute symmetry and sequence of beautiful minarets, the monument has been added to UNESCO world heritage list as well as it is also among the seven wonders of the world. We will leave Agra in the afternoon and move ahead to Delhi. This will be the last night of the tour.
Drop at International Airport
We depart from Delhi just after the noon, take our flight to home, arriving there on the same day.
